Frequently Asked Questions

Is participation voluntary?

Totally! Participating is completely voluntary and you can decide to stop participating at any time.

If you sign the informed consent but then don't want to continue within the study, there is no problem.

Will we get paid to participate?

Some of the questions in the quizzes are "financially incentivized", which means that we will give you money to make decisions about. Depending on your decisions and the decisions of other participants, you can receive between 0-200 Rupees for students. This will be paid through Decathlon vouchers and not in cash.

What personal data will we ask for?

Our goal is to have as little personal data as possible! All survey data will be stored through an anonymous code and your identity will never be revealed. This includes demographic data such as year of birth, nationality, gender, etc.

In order to make payments we will need students to sign a receipt when we give them the Decathlon voucher.

Can I contact a study coordinator?

Of course! We will be happy to clarify any doubts or concerns you may have.

You can contact the coordinator at the following address: jacob.roshan@venturevillage.world

If you wish, you can also contact the director of the study: esther.blanco@uibk.ac.at
